First photo session after Steve joined....had to be summer 1990. All the photos including and also after the release of "Take A Lick An' See" were always done by Lenny Marks from Len Mar Photos Westbury, New York. Lenny had done lighting for Steve in a previous band called Recovery and when Finster needed a photographer he got the job. We couldn't settle on a group shot so we ended up using four seperate head shots anywhere we needed a picture.
1990-91....after we realized what a pain in the ass it was to keep using four different shots we set up another session and this time our standard "all black velvet" was established....even the drums and a guitar was covered in crushed black velvet.
Here is a pic of the graffitti style writing that our buddy Tim Gil drew up when we were trying to decide on a logo....you can see that we really went with his art, just cleaned it up and made it a little clearer to read. It also served as the template for our second logo when we dropped the "baby" in the name between '95-'99
